Earthy Flowers

 

Hello dear friends!

This week I revisited my old floral print- 'Earthy Flowers'.

This year Asian paints announced TERRACOTTA as its colour of the year, and I think this floral pattern has all those earthy shades - from burnt terracotta to taupe and desert pinks/cavern pink to bright coral!

Terracotta is here to stay forever, I think  :)

    .... or clay, sun-kissed, sunbaked, baked-earth, rusty red, brownish-red... Call it by any name, this one colour (in all its shades) is loved by all of us. Whether it is a home decor piece, or a wallpaper, or ceramic tiles for our kitchens, or interior fabrics- it always finds a way to be in the hearts of our homes.

I have used this colour in many of my patterns, mixing & matching it with some other neutral earthy colours to give a cool natural look.
